I'm disappointed that the Australian government has not done more to help Schapelle and her family. Surely they could have provided more support. Because of Schapelle's high profile case, it has become apparent that security measures in Australian airports are absolutely horrendous.
I can only hope that Schapelle and the Corby family will continue their fight for freedom. I truly believe that Schapelle is innocent of all wrong doing. Whilst I doubt that anybody connected to Schapelle will ever read this blog, I do wish her the best of luck and a speedy return to Australia.
i'm indifferent to her case, like most things covered by comercial television, the truth has been distorted by media bullshit to the point that i can't make an informed opnion. from what i heard on abc radio, corbies family has strong ties with a prominent drug smuggleing family based in the gold coast, whilst this proves nothing, the usual suspects (channels 9 7 and 10) conviently forgot to mention this, because they wahnted their 'grave injustice' sob story. sadly, anything you see or hear on comercial television pertaining to news is most likely bullshit, and not to be trusted.
ReplyDeleteHey Zack! Thanks for popping by for a visit. :)
ReplyDeleteBegrudgingly, I do agree with you to a certain degree. IMHO, commercial television does tend to sensationalise news and current affairs stories. I respect that you do not want to jump into an opinion without being fully informed.
